He's definitely good...great really. I think umps sometimes fall into rhythms too just like pitchers. They get so used to him being around the plate that they give him the corners. Think about it, cj is less likey to get the borderline calls because he misses so wild sometimes.

Carpenter has always been known as a major deuche bag. The media clowns kind of got on greinke when he called him out but he was spot on. I remember watching a cards game last year and the camera caught carpenter berating Brendan Ryan because Ryan's web had broke and he had to hold up the game and get a new glove. Carpenter absolutely cussed him out right there on camera.

That just proved to me what I always heard was true about him and last night was about as childish as I've ever seen. Napoli doesn't talk smack to anyone so there was no reason for carpenter to do that.
