Carl Pelini NFL Bound?

I heard a rumor today that Carl was leaving Nebraska to be the defense cordinator for the Kansas City Cheifs. I dont believe it but I was seeing if anyone else heard this or not.

Chiefs were supposed to be courting Romeo Crennel, evidently supposed to make him an offer after he coaches the East-West shrine game on the 23rd. If the Carl rumor is true, I imagine they're weighing their options in case Crennel declines / takes another offer elsewhere.

the coin he makes now is chump change for coordinators in the NFL. I believe Cosgrove would have doubled his salary just to be a LB coach for the Vikings when it was offered to him. If there is an NFL team serious enough in Carl he would be crazy not to jump at the chance.
