Cann was still available why go with a DB? Sorry Pats just went from an A+ to a C

But he is really uh, really uh - what the hell?Cann just went. I see a lot OL guys going now. We need OL. Not a fucking safety.
Good points, smart players are always welcome. Just hope he has the skills? I surely don't think Harmon is the answer either. We all hated the second round pick last year when he made it........you know, Jimmy Garrapolo.
This pick says two things......(1) Chung had his best year ever and he may have shot his wad (2) he doesn't trust Duron Harmon to play every down.
This guy is an Academic All American for the past three years. His team mates call him "coach". He's been a defensive captain since he was a Soph. He knows what the hell he's doing and everyone else looks to him to them what to do. Considering he plays at Stanford, he team mates must think or know he's smarter than they are.
Bill will go OL at 96 or 97 maybe both. There's a truck load of OL talent and I'm pretty sure Dante has given Bill a few names that we haven't seen yet.
I heard today that 68% of first round draft picks never make it beyond 3 years in the NFL. With the new salary system in place, I expect that number to reverse to 86%.
BB has never drafted an OG before Rd 4. There are 3 OG still there than can start day 1. Jackson, Mathis, kid from Bama, who if healthy would have been a 1st rd pick. If we get one tomorrow with 101, I am cool with that.
Richards is a FS/SS who was a 1st team Pac10 who is very, very smart. Played vs some good teams. I expect him to compete with Chung, Harmon to start. I hated the pick at 1st, but thinking about it now, there was not much S out there. He is smart, and BB likes that. Do your job, he seems to know everyone job.
101, 111, 131, 147, 178, 202, 253 - 7 picks remaining as of the end of day 2We have 111 and 131. A 5th - 147. Two 6th - 178 and 202

Let me get this straight - the team is set for the playoffs right now and we have 7 more picks!
Nice work Creepy. As I mentioned BB alwyas welcomes smart players and athletes that play other sports or positions. Not sure it was a need? Not sure if the Pats could've have gotten him later? Doesn't have great speed 4.65. Did very well in the cone drills so apparently has loose hips. Experts think he struggles in coverage. He was a team CPT, good leader, probably more of a run support stopper at this point. Likes to get physical is something the Pats need. I hope he turns out to be replacement for Chung. But BBs past track record of DBs doesn't leave me with a warm fuzzy. 2nd round pick I'm just very skeptical at this point. Come on day 3.BB has never drafted an OG before Rd 4. There are 3 OG still there than can start day 1. Jackson, Mathis, kid from Bama, who if healthy would have been a 1st rd pick. If we get one tomorrow with 101, I am cool with that.

Damn I hope not. Are there any left footed punters high on the list? BB loves them left footed punters. We'll draft a punter before OL.
Bill took Tre Jackson OG FLA ST. A true road grader. Need some work on pass protection but he never let anyone get to Winston.
I've been ignoring the draft.
But let me get this straight, We just picked up Tre Jackson and Shaq Mason?
Oh happy day!!
