Federer is good on all surfaces, but Nadal is better on hardcourt than grass, and Djokovic is better on hardcourt than grass. That's why Federer won Wimbledon in 2012 and almost won Wimbledon in 2014, and less success at the other slams (since 2012).

No, less success is because he had back issues and a smaller headsize racquet as well as that dull transition period when you are not yet accustomed to the racquet change. Now that he is at home with the new frame count on him to kick ass against 100sqin holders o trampoline on a stick.

I liked Federer's old racquet more, because he hit harder with it. At 2011 French Open and 2012 Wimbledon for example, he hit a lot harder vs Djokovic than at 2014 Wimbledon. New racquet makes less errors off backhand wing but his forehand looks less potent. That's what it looked like at the 2014 AO too.

I think he had to adjust the tension a bit higheras well to accommodate the extra 8 sqin. That can slow down the fh a bit. But his serve hasmore pop according to the man himself and so I fancy his chances of going deep. I think his returns have improved a bit. There should be less mis hits and if he can be patient in the bl rallies in the return game and play with less UEs and be aggressive and finish service games sooner he Has a good shot.

I hope so.
I've wanted to see a Naderer 5-setter, since the last one at 2009 AO.
They are incredibly fun

What I want to see is if Djokovic and Wawrinka meet, will it go 5 sets for a 4th straight time at a major? And if Wawrinka wins, he will boost his record to 2-3 against Djokovic at majors.

If it goes 5 sets for a 4th straight time, I wonder how many times a matchup has gone 5 sets at majors 4 straight times. Or how about 3 straight times even?
I agree, Djokrinka is a good idea for the US Open semis

We got our wish in the 2016 US Open Finals!
