Are you afraid, Florida? Well? Are you?
It will take a subpar game for Florida combined with an overachieving game by the opponent for Florida to lose before the FF.
Except this game. Even that would result in a Florida win.

I didn't pick SU past UF just cause I'm a home. I think SU matches up very well against Florida. I don't think Florida can matchup against Fair and Grant on the Wings with Christmas and Keita at the 5 spot. Fair and Grant should eat florida alive inside.

I wouldn't say subpar, if Florida plays average in the SS or E8 with an excellent performance by there opponent than they could absolutely get knocked off.
Goes for any top team.
Just don't think the Cuse has the inside strength to deal with the Florida athletes. The Gators are not big, but they all look like they spend a lot of time in the weight room and they all are very fit and can run. Florida blocks out on the boards as well as any team I have seen play and that negates the size problem. Kentucky's Johnson, Poythress, Calley-Stein and Randle are a very big and physical bunch(much bigger than Syracuse) and the Gators held their own just fine. Sorry Jonvi, the Syracuse bigs are no where near that physical. A very deep bench makes the full court trapping game tough to deal with. If a team is not prepared to run, run and run some more; things will not go well against Florida. I hope we see that game as the Syracuse zone is not something most teams play and they do it well. I'm sure Billy D. will be rolling out some Syracuse Pitt game films because even when Pitt is not a good team, they still make it tough on the Cuse.
Kentucky is just as big if not bigger down low than any team in the coutry and Florida did just fine again them this year. Florida does a great job on rotations and trapping. The great defensive teams have great "team" defense meaning that all 5 on the court do their part.

Yeah, yeah, yeah....UK has had trouble with a bunch of teams. UNC for instance. What's fun is we get to see it real soon. Actually...I kind of like this region for the Cuse.
