i just got home from work and check tg's twitter to see if anything interesting happened today and saw this at the top of the page and i think my heart sank

i was really really hoping he'd make it just one more year, after he got snubbed by the HOF... he deserved to be inducted this year, i jsut wanted him to be alive to see it. but it now doesn't sound like thats going to happen.

prayers for his family and himself. a truely amazing man.

In my opinion the best out of the 3 coaches that won the Cup with us.

of course... i really believe barring his bouts with cancer he would have been our longest running coach.... if you look at all our cup teams. the 03 one, may have been the weakest. there was little to no offense on that team by the finals with joey nieuwendyk out.
