Great post. Way to put him in his place. LOLI must have been listening to a different game than what you saw as I heard Buffalo had a 7 - 0 lead at one time then Seattle tied the game. Then a second time Buffalo took the lead and Seattle tied it up again, then I heard where Buffalo kicked a field goal to take the lead for the 3rd time in the game so I did not hear a game where Seattle had the lead for the entire game.
I'm not being a Bills homer, I'm neutral here, just calling out the truth. Why are you constantly a Seahawks and Raiders homer, while you're a Rams fan. Are you getting confused in your advanced age?
Now if the Hawk fans and ONE Ram fan who remain in complete denial can admit to this the thread will end.
Definitely.
so you agree then that it was the Seahawks to blame for the loss and not the officiating?
just want to understand the rules of engagement here
Sorry bud. You're wrong. Watch the next time an offside player runs through the QB after the "whistle".
You gotta rewatch it. Sherman hesitates... why? My guess is whistle, but it's just a guess. Have you ever seen anyone try and block a kick that way? Touch it and run through the kicker? idk. Usually you dive at the ball to block it.
But whatever. It was definitely not why we lost. Taylor's INT was brutal. And we had 1st and goal at the end.
Jordan Mills is a much bigger hinderence than the refs.
The play was over before he hit the kicker. Therefore it was unnecessary roughness. If every player could use the I didn't hear the whistle defense, how would that go over?
So you like the I didn't hear the whistle defense?
Nobody will use that. Honor system.
Again. Watch the game.
You didn't answer my question.
Do you think "I didn't hear it", is an acceptable defense? And do you think it would not get out of hand if that was allowed?
It wasn't, and I'm pretty sure that doesn't hold up on a play that has been whistled dead.
LOL .... again, misrepresenting my words. I guess that's all you got.
I see a couple fingers on the ball and most of his body in Carpenter's knee.
Now, take the angle from which he started, a dive "at the ball" would make more sense, no?
Getting tired of trying to explain this. The play was unabated offsides. Play dead. Offensive player touched. Play dead. Ball touched. Play dead. That's three, count 'em, three times where the play is dead. Not my opinion. Actually dead. Not "if it was a QB he could throw it", or "nothing else Sherman could do", D-E-A-D.
The refs "gave Sherman the benefit of the doubt that he didn't hear the whistle".
Fine. If I accept that, (that will get messy when everyone uses that excuse), fine.
The "delay of game" was nothing short of an illegal call. The half is over. Get it right. Don't rush shit.
And finally, this is NOT why Buffalo lost the game. That is not the point.
Cant over come bad calls to end a game or a half. Just saying. bad call during the 8 min of the 1st Q yes i agree a good team can over come it.Of course. (not all of us obviously, but enough.)
Good teams overcome bad calls. The calls don't help, but what are you going to do? New Orleans got away with a textbook pick play in their win over Seattle, which helped them win. But Seattle STILL had a chance to win it, and Kearse was within inches of doing just that.
They didn't convert, and they lost.
So.it.goes.
Yeah I heard after his 1st step.
This clip is 5 seconds long. Watch it and please continue to try to tell us all that Sherman didn't hear the whistle, or that the play was dead. The whistles clearly do not sound until Sherman is on the ground.
I'm sure UKCowboy will still bullshit this post though. He hates indisputable evidence.
Also it shows he wanted to tackle the Kicker. He didnt even have to touch him but at the end you see him going after the leg. Thanks for the Video shows more of a dirty player he is. LOL

Making up your own reality again.
The kicker didn't hear the whistle either (because it hadn't been blown), so he went ahead and tried to kick it. Sherman feared a free kick, so he attempted a block. Since the refs knew that it was a live play when contact was made, they didn't throw a flag. The officials stated all this and the tape backs it up.
lol... what is this defending?
Are you telling me to block that ball, diving at it (almost landing on it) is not the better way to block it?
Dirty Sherman is outed in this pic.
And the call on the field, offside, unabated to the kicker, negates all of it.... you can't call unabated and "know" the play is live.... well you can if you don't know what you're talking about, but it doesn't make it true.
You mean with the holder's knee in front of the ball as evidenced in your own picture? Are you blind?
So are you telling me you think Sherman should have just stopped running even though no whistle was blown? You understand "the call on the field" was made after the kick was made and Sherman was on the ground, right? Not the moment he steps offside.
