That 30-for-30 entitled "Catching Hell" about Bill Buckner and Steve Bartman and the aftermath that followed both guys is really well done.

The high number of people claiming to be Bruins fans today was really annoying.

What I found worse was the amount of people laughing at Leafs fans after last night....I know they are an unpopular team and everything but that fan base has waited 9 years to get back to the playoff....the treatment they have gotten after last night was pathetic really.
I know I wouldn't want to be mocked like that after a heart breaking loss.

Anybody else think the B's should have received a delay of game penalty for throwing a water bottle on the ice just prior to the puck being dropped to start OT?

Being in the NE area, everyone became a bruins fan overnight. I'm not saying none of them were fans before, but I'd be surprised if half had watched a game before last night. Also probably didn't help that those who were knowledgeable bruins fans gave me shit for the Caps last night.

To me the Leafs aren't so much unpopular, just polarizing. Every move the team makes off the ice to practice to the games to the press conferences is scrutinized over and over. The rest of the NHL fans, and especially those with TSN coverage, are sick of hearing about it. It's kind of like ESPN shoving 24/7 Tim Teabow coverage down its viewers throats. Every free agent over the past two decades has been and E4 or better going to Toronto and over time that will wear on even the nicest of sports fans.

When the failure happens, regardless of the circumstances, everyone will jump out of the woodwork to pile on. It's human nature for sports fans.

and today he has the oblivious gall to say

Pension Plan Puppets ‏@mlse 5h If you sent condolences, you're pretty great. If you tap danced on the Leafs grave, such is sports. Just remember that turnabout's fair play

it is fucking fair play indeed!!!
