Bruins come in1point ahead of Montreal with 2 games in hand.

Too many Bruins fans delude themselves into thinking referee bias is to blame for Montreal's historic dominance of Boston.

Referee bias has NOTHING to do with it!

Montreal's emphasis on skating and skill is not effeminate, it's smart strategy!

Boston's emphasis on physicality might have made sense when they were allowed to play their home games
on a small rink, but wasn't all that smart even then. Now that they haveto playall games on a regulation rink, it's
DUMB, not masculine!

Physicality has it's points, but being able to skate and stick-handle well has more. Being able to cope with opposition
rough stuff is more dependant on skill than many Boston fans think it is. Avoiding a checkwhen possible is not cowardly, it gets opposition players out of position and produces scoring chances, which dropping the gloves never will.

Skate, control the puck, and make THEM commit infractions, don't obsess about punishing those infractions, Bruins!
Win the fights they start but don't think you have to start any.

I think the Habs might have a letdown after the last couple of games. Plus they played last night and Monday and the Bruins have been idle since Saturday. Might cancel out because they are at home, but I still wouldnt be amazed if the come out flat. They have been on a good run though.

Not sure how meaningful this stat is but the Bruins are scoring on a higher percentage of there shots than Montreal is.

Anyone know what the norms are for this stat? Checking it out only occurred to me about 10 minutes ago.

I'd say West Ham and Milllwall in London have them beat, but as far a NA goes, yeah, this one is up at the top.

I'm tempted to replace "possibly" with "probably" in the above.
