Well looking ahead at this game we got a big one right here. A win gives us essentially a 2-game lead in the division with most likely having the tie breakers over the Chiefs and Chargers. A win also gives us a pretty big boost over all those teams right behind us for the wild card spots. This is not a season that a 9-7 team is going to get in in my opinion.

Now a loss on the other hand gives the Chiefs and Chargers some light plus gives the Dolphins the tie breaker over us if say it comes down to that for the wild card.

So yes this in my opinion is a big one. Thankfully we are finally home! Been a month since we had a home game and honestly it couldn't come at a better time. I would say the home field should help as no more silent count for the offense and the defense knowing exactly when we are going to hike the football. I figured a Manning lead offense would change up how they do the silent count from week to week but they seem to do the exact same thing every time giving the defense the ability to jump the snap count pretty easy.

Here are the things I want to see with this game...I want to see the Broncos first drive decide to actually commit to the run game. Give the OL a chance to prove they can be the big ugglies and push people around. We have Virgil Green back so I would start him at TE and just let them work with CJ Anderson hitting the hole hard. I want to see us get out of the first quarter with more runs than pass plays for the first time in a long time.

This then should set up the play action passing that we have been missing so much lately.

So really all I care about for the offense other than scoring points is really to see this OL show that they mean business. They have been the weak link and they need to show they don't like being called that. Peyton and Gase also need to show that they are willing to commit to the run game and stick with it for 4 quarters. I think this is why we have seen such inconsistency with this offense where when we do finally have some success with the run game this offense truly is unstoppable but as soon as we become 1-dimensional we are done. Anyway not saying anything we haven't all talked about all year long.

Defensively I want to see Del Rio call a very aggressive game. Tannehil has shown he is one of the worst deep ball quarterbacks in the league. Don't have our Corners then playing 10 yards off the ball and our Safeties playing 20 yards off the ball. It doesn't make sense. Make Tannehil beat us with his greatest weakness is having to go over the top. Take away all the short stuff and see if we can force some turnovers like he is hoping from the Shark video. I'm tired of seeing this Cover-3 Crap. It works for Seattle but we don't have the same type of secondary. Del Rio needs to figure that out quick.

Finally I want to see McManus try one long field goal. If they cannot trust him with anything over 45 yards then we need to find somebody else and find them quick. That is a huge hindrance and honestly last week we saw how much that hurt us with 3 drives that could have been points. That would mean in the 4th quarter the game still being very tight and not forcing Peyton to have to throw into triple coverage trying to make something happen.

Miami is very tough on the passing game. Can't wait to see this matchup but Denver's OL is a major concern today.

It's one series, but man, all week they talked about how mad they were. I was hoping to see a defensive unit that looked like it knew something about football. Let's hope they get their shit together.

I hope this week isn't a "you wanted to run so lets do it for 80% of the game. and see how you like it" type of weeks.

Keep pounding the run. Gonna set up some big play-action down the field later.

Agreed. I think that was a positive opening drive. Could've been better, but it looks like they are setting something up.

Now...DEFENSE!

Great this shit again, it's 3rd and 4, why not throw a slant or a curl route, I swear we call the worst 3rd down plays in the league.

What a dumb challenge. That's going to be a waste of a time out.
