I have always admired this guy. His twin brother was drafted by Seattle this year.

Last time we sucked this bad we ended up with Von Miller as our #1 pick. Perhaps it's time to try again.

That was a historic draft class. This class doesn't look nearly that good

Im srarting to wonder just how good Darmold is now that he lost that ridiculously talented 2016 team.

The past few weeks hes looked like he's forcing throws, missing reads, and getting happy feet- though hes never had great footwork to begin with. Not a huge fan of his sliw delivery or motion either. Announcers in ND game really pointed out a ton of issues he had last week.

Was USC really a ridiculous 2016 team?

He lost Schuster who was hurt much of that season so didn't have quite the same year he did as a SOPH. Deontay Burnett is a very good WR on the team this year. He has the same RB in Ronald Jones and they have a beast of a FR RB Stephen Carr this year. I don't think he has really lost much talent around him.

OL is the one place I could point to and say he lost some talent. He saw 3 of the 5 leave this past year. To me though it is more what happens to a lot of young QB's that all of a sudden have the limelight on them. They start pushing a little harder and trying to do too much. Jameis Winston is a great example of a guy that went from possibly top QB prospect since Luck to people questioning a bit with all the turnovers.

They still have a pretty decent OL though. I'm not sure in watching Darnold that it is a pressure issue, more of a decision making, forcing some passes he shouldn't make at any level. Maybe I am crazy... But just seems like some decision making mistakes have been exposed. Still like him a lot. Those can be fixed. Just sorta a letdown this year compared to expectations, but also remember last year when he first came on he struggled but quickly got better each game and hit stride late and was VERY impressive in the Rose Bowl. The progression he made throughout the year was incredible which is why everyone was so high on him... This year he just didn't show that improvement. Still has great tools.

He still makes some incredible throws that show the talent is for sure there. Just kind of like with Paxton right now of whether a QB can turn that into a more consistent part of their game. Then throw in yes the decision making. Trusts his arm a little too much at times or thinks he has to hit the big play when the check down to keep a drive alive would be a much better/logical decision.

3-13 please sucky but, we need to load our O big time. We need longterm hope on this side before our D needs total overhaul due to age.

That is correct professor - we need long term hope on the offensive side of the line. ;)

Kirk should easily be the #1 WR IMO.

Good list just small tidbits where we differ a bit.

Surprised you don't have Damon Webb of Ohio State in your top 10 S's and Marcus Allen a bit higher.

Jordan Whitehead has struggled this year. I like his upside, but he needs to put it together. I'd put Toliver and Holton Hill higher at CB. I probably have Kiser a little higher than you and Shaun Dion Hamilton.

Glad to see Andrew Brown and Isaiah Buggs in there. I like the DL rankings you have almost to perfection.

Fumagalli needs to be a bit higher but depends on what type of TE you need. Mark Andrew isn't a blocker, more like an Evan Engram type so just depends on who is drafting. Some teams won't touch him early because he isn't a blocking TE and some will be in love with his rec skills.

I actually like the TE class quite a bit again this year. Watch out for Blake Mack. Brenemann if he can stay healthy he is a dandy. There was a TE I was thinking about the other day that I really like in college football that not many give enough love to, who the hell was it?

I'd probably have Florida CB Duke Dawson in my top 10 safeties, or at least top 12.

Not sure Deon Cain belongs in top 10 WR's one of my favorite players in college but he has had a terrible year and looks like he may only be a deep threat.

My personal favorite is James Washington and he will fall a bit because he could fall under the same boat in the NFL, but he does more then a deep threat too unlike Cain, but just may fall a bit come draft time with a lot of WR's declaring.

Courtland Sutton and E St. Brown have really let me down this year. I still like both, but Courtland Sutton needs to run better routes. A big body for sure, but while being very high on him at the start of the year I have soured on him since. St. Brown should be fine, just not a good stat year for him.
