I said it before an I'll say it again that Brax will not transfer. Brax is also not going to speak to the media about this, at least not yet. I think this rumor started from Spielman a month or so ago. I forgot what interview he was doing, but mentioned something about his gut feeling was Brax would go elsewhere.
I know Urbs loves Brax and he will give Brax a fair chance to compete for the starting job.
Honestly, just my opinion here, I think Brax stays put. He's already familiar with the offense, he loves the coaching staff, he's still not ready to participate yet and learning a new offensive scheme in a short time may not suit well for him.

He has to say that no matter what per NCAA recruiting rules. If he openly commented on a recruit, going for them or not, it's an automatic violation.

Reporters know it and only ask as a means to fuel speculation.

It was his general comments about such a process while not mentioning a specific individual after that which said the most. I hope it doesn't happen, so I didn't care much for what he said.

Don't you guys need a QB real bad?

Wonder why Strong isn't all over him.

From what I understand, you cant reach out to the players- they have to reach out to you. Thus, Miller obviously reached out to Bama.

Who's to say Braxton Miller's going to ever be able to throw decently again anyway? I think the jury's out on his shoulder injury.

Obviously, a lot of teams would salivate at the chance to see if his shoulder is back or not. Would he play any other position than QB? I'm not sure he's good enough to beat out Ohio State's players at RB or WR either. I think transferring is in his best interest if he's determined to play QB, which I think he is.

What difference does it make who's sideline Miller is holding a clip board on?

I don't know if it will be Alabama, but realistically, I don't see all three Heisman-caliber QBs returning to Ohio State.

I don't think talent is the issue. The amount of time to get adjusted with a team is.

And a system, and an entirely new coaching staff, and culture, etc.... Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Bama is just the latest school that has been mentioned as a possible place for Miller to end up. Of course I'd like to see him stay in Columbus but I can understand why if he decides to leave. The other schools mentioned so far that I can remember have been...Oregon, FSU & LSU.

I agree. First he has to see if his shoulder is healed where he can play, then go through the transfer process. After that is done learn the plays, signals, coaches, team and everything else at another school. On top of that Bama plays Wisky the first game and they are usually a tough game.

I think it is also fit. Braxton is a talented player, but he is not particularly system flexible. I just dont see Bama changing their system to maximize his abilities, especially in the short time period between now and the season.

I don't understand. Other than him being a shotgun QB where would all the change be?
