except SEC refs.......it's clear they've moved from AL to MS for this year
everybody can see Ole Miss losing to Auburn
But can everybody see ole miss losing to the Vols?

Not quite sure what you mean here ...I don't think it will happen. They will have already played each other, so if they both get put in the playoff, that pretty much says the regular season doesn't count. That's not the message the committee wants to send especially in the first year of playoffs. This is the same reason why FSU and ND can't both make the playoffs.
I'm thinking MSU loses at Bama ...
Given the way the rest of the conferences are playing, have a 4 team playoff comprised of the SEC West. Might have FSU in there, however, so far, they don, t look like a top 4 team. I would love to see the argument for any team other than FSU to be considered A TOP 4 team.
im wondering what happens if the SEC west champ loses in the SEC title game.
I don't share your optimism.
Show me a deserving team other than FSU.
the West runner up goes to the playoff
If they do end up playing each other and both are 11-0 the loser and winner of that game should still be in the playoff. It would be dumb to penalize the loser when it would be clear they are the top 2 teams in the country.
This would be the scenario: You take the winner of this game, the loser of this game. And if FSU/ND runs the table you take them and then you take Baylor if they run the table. Pretty simple.
13-0/12-1 winner of the egg bowl(Yes even if they lose SECCG)
11-1 loser of the egg bowl
12-0 Baylor if unbeaten
12-0 FSU/ND if unbeaten
If Baylor loses, teams like OU(assuming they are the team that beats Baylor), Oregon, Arizona and TCU are back in the picture. MSU would also be in the discussion though I don't think they'd get picked over any of those other 1 loss teams in this scenario.
