I feel that this is going to be a pretty good game. Better than the first one the two teams had. I think that it is going be decided by 1 goal easily, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tampa wins but I'm still pulling for the B's like I always do.

Ya DW I came over when ESPN closed down their boards. I saw where you posted on Devils board and I posted right after but you missed it. Devils are off to a bad start, are they that bad ?.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed Stammers on ice time this season has diminished from previous seasons? This game, he only saw 16:55 ice time. I'd like to see them mix up the lines a bit more. Hedman went for -5 this game in the +/- stat. I still don't see where this D has improved. They are grittier, if that's a word. I guess more physical is what I am looking for. But again netminders can't do it alone. No one even challenged Iggie when he screened our goalie in the crease on that 1 goal. I do still believe that Murray would surely have helped us there. He may be a slow stay at home D-man but he keeps front of net clear.

Just a thought. Bishop pulled after 4, Hedman is a -5 for the night. Maybe the Bolts pulled the wrong man.

Bishop has been solid so far this season, Bruins are a tough team to play against, I think everyone is entitled a letdown. I understand the disappointment, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Lightning are looking like a more complete team this year to me.

Boy I blew that one, so did the Bolts. Like Stammer said Boston wanted it more. Not to be discouraged though this team is a lot better than last years team.

ya we have lost to boston twice and the penguins once this year two cup contenders it's not the end of the world. They left bishop out to dry all night! It gets harder thursday here come the blackhawks!

Indeed Todd, I thought of that already too. Blackhawks coming but at least we won't have to hear that stupid, gay song after every goal they score. Hopefully they don't score because we get the Lightning girls to play instead of our D!

Bad but (hopefully) not that bad. Aside from the last game they've basically looked out of sync. Glad you made it over. Not as much volume on these boards but generally the quality of posts is higher
