Amazing to me that this team is only 8 pts out of a playoff spot (Though Toronto has 2 games in hand).

Don't worry, I was out of state in the beginning of the season when the team went 3-0. Then when I started to watch again, the team started to lose so its mostly my fault.

Yea, its crazy that its only 8 points. Seems like it should be more like 15-20 with the way the season is going. Devils played more games than just about everybody though. Playoffs in my opinion are almost an impossibility. I think the worst thing that can happen is to make that push and miss the playoffs by a few points, thus getting draft pick in the teens.

I wouldn't doubt PDB's dismissal is having that effect on a lot of this team. Lately they have looked much better. Doesn't mean they are suddenly a different team, but looks much better.

idk, I hate tanking but maybe its for the best???? I cant trust Lou in terms of improving the team anymore via trade or FA...

draft some youth with potential....

After a coaching change, players are usually more fired up, but I am not going to get too happy after beating Philly and Buffalo. Yea they beat the Penguins which was good to see.
Now tonight they have 7 shots after 2 periods??

I like seeing guys like Larsson getting more minutes. Jury is still out on the coaching change however.

Lets see how the respond tonight in the 3rd.
