I genuinely felt bad for him at one point. You could see Saban on the sideline after Sims hit Cooper on a long pass for a TD and Kiffin was staring into the abyss while Saban yelled about him, apparently because it was not what Saban wanted the play to be. Saban can be tough to deal with, so if Kiffin was offered a top spot again, he might jump at it.

Not me. No way ... no how. Kiffin is a big-time dewsh!

I feel sorry for whoever hires Pelini as a D coord. He was running Nebraska's D.

The game has passed him by.

Has he been given a vote of confidence or are they evaluating his situation?

I can't say that the game has passed him by. How many current programs can say they have won at least 9 games each of the last 7 years? I'm guessing it's a very short list. Although I think Nebraska made the right move. The Huskers need a different HC & Pelini needs a change of scenery.

I think Pelini should have stayed, but Nebraska needed new coordinators. A new tight ends coach, a new linebackers coach, and a new Strength and Conditioning coach.

My wishes

Hudspeth
McElwain
Tressel - I don't care about his show cause or whatever it is

Hopefully, not an NFL person.

It had better not be Al Golden.

Hopefully, not a coordinator at another school.

Frost is a maybe, but Nebraska could offer him $700,000 and almost double his Oregon salary as OC. But it is thought that Frost wants Head Coach.

Muschamp as DC?

Just read up on the show cause.

Nebraska and Tressel could easily appeal the show cause. Nebraska is not a known cheating school. Pelini did run a sort of clean program, the players were graduating, no recruiting scandals, no academic scandals, still had academic all americans, did have some 20 year olds and younger do stupid immature stuff(wow what a shock)

I am sure the appeal would go through.

Unless there is some really bad unknown dirt on Tressel that is not public. North Carolina is corrupt and still doing whatever. Miami, they got away with it because of the NCAA incompetence only.

Throw enough lawyers at the NCAA and the NCAA wilts.

2001 Rose Bowl was the last major bowl for Nebraska.

That kinda surprised me.

Passed him by? :L

He was 67-27 during his tenure there and 22-10 in Conference play.

What kind of shape was the program in before he got there? Ask yourself if he improved it.

They better have a great replacement in mind or they can end up with the kind of guy the University of Miami has=medicority.
