Retail profit is probably 40% minimum. So at least a net profit of 15% and that's alright for them.

Making up $1.3 mil would have been tough to do though.

Ah I was thinking you were talking about the sale. Yeah making up 1.3 mil on a twitter account that probably already shares a decent number of followers with your own wouldn't be easy.

Yeah. Say they make $10 profit on every jersey sold. They'd have to sell 130,000 jerseys to make that $1.3 million back.

That's not talking taxes on the profit.
