Sabres get their 1st PP of the game with 8 minutes left in the 3rd and trailing 4-1.

If you ask me, they should have pulled Miller for the 6 on 4.

Congrats to the Jackets and their fans. I just got back from Tennessee and saw the last five minutes. That was enough.

Edit. That was a sweet goal by Vanek !!! Wow.

Wow, awesome goal. Props to Vanek, he's really been the bright spot for the Sabres this year. If you ask me, he should be the full time captain of the team, unless of course the Sabres are planning on trading him later this season.

I wasn't happy with the Jackets letting off the gas. I mean it looked like they took the power plays in the third as a chance to practice passing. I know the Sabres quit, but in the east you need to play a 60 minute game.

Not overly concerned about it because they fought til the end (JJ's penalty was the end) against Calgary and played a full 60 on the Island. But I will be watching closely.

There is a noticeable difference between the Cam Atkinson and Ryan Johansens of last year and this one. And Murray gets better every game.

Miller is exceptional and Ott and Vanek are big pieces. I hope for Sabre fans, none of those pieces leave. You can't just replace Vanek. Especially not in a contract year. He is never going to get a Nash like return.

That game reminded of Lindys last game behind the bench - the team just doesn't want to play or can't be motivated to play. It's brutal watching that crap.
