Everyone who thought they found some late season gold in Gray just got a punch in the gut this morning.
Given its the Hoodie, who the hell knows, but it can't be great for Gray

Even without Blount it would be hoodielike to suddenly start James Develin. Or Bolden. Or White.

For me Latavius was the pickup to make... but I was also optimistic about Ball, Foles and Stafford this year.

He will still be used until he is not effective. Keep Gray... Blount might be a goal line guy however. Though Gray has proven he can be that guy as well.

Blount will return kickoffs and be the change of pace when Gray needs a blow or if Gray can't seem to get untracked........He'll also be a first down option on a screen pass for Brady........

I did forget about his catching ability. However, i just don't see Brady throwing him the ball that much since he is in a rhtym with the current offense.

A great beefy RB tandem made for crappy winter weather. Gray and Blount will get enough carries.

Agreed that it is pretty much impossible to figure out how the Pats will use their RBs and I think there are likely to be games in which they don't use any of them much at all. I remember how Blount ended the regular season with a monster game last year, followed it up with a huge playoff game against Indy, and then got the ball five times in the AFCCG against Denver. As much as any team in the league, NE seems to value varying up their offensive attack from week to week. That can be great in real football. Not so desirable for fantasy ballers.

Now i'm not so upset about missing out on Gray in every league this week. :)
