Jeez...Blake Bortles is a fantastic fantasy QB? If there was any evidence that fantasy football is shit, there it is...

He didn't correct them...that's just stupid. His own ineptitude was a major reason the Jaguars were in a situation where they were going for onside kicks. In general, given the soft pass defense, Bortles was shit.

He corrected them by putting points on the board. He gave up 3, he was able to put 2 scores on the board but couldn't get the 3rd. Don't get me wrong, he lost that game for the Jags, but the old Bortles would not of brought that team back the way he did.

Not sure why the "lol". He's 12th on ESPN. Almost a top 10 fantasy QB.
12th is a borderline starter. Unless you play in a twenty team league.

Aaron Rodgers is not above him on that particular list either.

Uuuhhh, yes he would've. The precendent is already there. Down big early, largely due to him...leads a comeback that falls short. Game in, game out.

Blake Bortles.

Blake Bortles.

2016:

Week 2 vs. Chargers: Chargers up 35-0. In 2 drives, Bortles turned it over on downs and threw a TD on the last series of the game. Chargers win 38-14
Week 7 vs. Raiders: Raiders up 27-9. In 3 drives, Jags have to punt it away and Bortles threw 1 TD. Raiders win 33-16
Week 8 vs. Titans: Titans up 36-8. Bortles throws 2 TDs in final 3 minutes of the game. Titans win 36-22

Those are garbage time stats. The stats you put up in the final minutes of a game that you can't win. The game against the Niners was winnable and was a 4 point game til the final minute of the game. Those are not garbage time stats. Those are drives and numbers put up to give your team a win. Sorry, but we will have to disagree on that point.

Just stop it. First of all, I specifically said 2015...when he had his 'big' year. That year, he had 12 TD's/10 Ints/79.4 QB rating in the first half of games and 23 TD's/8 Ints'/97.2 QB Rating in the second half. His numbers reflected his play...poorly in the first half and put up a bunch of garbage numbers in the second half.

Basically very similar to what happened against SF on Sunday. If you think getting a bunch of stats late in a 37-19 blowout, against a soft prevent zone, where the only hope was relying on 2 onside kicks/turnovers to even have a chance, you just aren't paying attention.

If you were choosing between Foles and Bortles you had no buissness winning in the first place.
I had Wentz all season. Luckily Foles and Keenum (and Gurley) got me to the finals.

...with poor edge discipline by the Bills.

I don't know how anyone could watch his inability to even come close on screen passes yesterday could consider him anything more than possibly a quality backup QB (maybe he's OK in small doses).

There was a throw he made on an out-route that was so bad. It looked like a high school QB throw. The ball didn't sail on him, it was just so far from a spiral that it looked like he was holding it wrong or something.

Ah yes, the self inflicted comeback. Favre was the master of it only he usually completed the job.

Blake Bortles is terrible.

The talking heads kept trying to blame it on the wind, lol. How much can a 20 mph wind affect a screen pass?

Exactly the play I'm talking about. They turned it into something about Brady too. I couldn't believe an NFL QB made that throw.

14-26 214 yards, 1 TD
5 rushes, 35 yards
2-0 in the playoffs and going to the AFC title game.

I do remember being probably the only one saying this guy is getting better.
