Even so, the fact that Blake Bortles is being considered as good as Kirk Cousins is mindboggling and you can see it just by watching them play.....

Blake Bortles has the pleasure of actually having a great supporting cast around him. Cousins doesn't have a running game, offensive line or a WR that can catch on a consistent basis. But like I said, Cousins is a stat machine and that only gets you so far. The Redskins need to put people around him to capitalize on those stats.

The redskins definitely need to but they won't be able to keep him this offseason if Kirk is smart enough to want to leave (and if they don't throw one of the most ridiculous offers in history at him).

After their impending blowout loss in the AFC championship the jags should at least take a look at him, although maybe they believe in Bortles now, which is a little less insane than it once was I guess.

In places like this it's not surprising that you will eventually come into contact with people with very stupid and bad takes (that Brees #1 guy is on fire today in that regard lol!) and this is one of them.

Statistically there are only a few qbs in the league who have been better than Cousins the past three years. He has had a number of chokes and is not very consistent, and is kind of like a Romo in that regard, but he is so much beyond what Bortles could ever be lol...
