Websites put cookies on your computer for their own statistical analysis. They all do it from Google to Kmart.

When you log off of SportsHoopla it tells you "All cookies cleared!"

You can and should also clear your own cookies from time to time by 'deleting browsing history' under "Tools".

I use a program called Peer Block to prevent tracking, among other stuff. I have to write exceptions for some sites though, such as SportsHoopla. If it's a corporate blocker then I doubt any one user on it can make any exceptions on it. Oh well
