Sanders was something special and good gawd IF he had an O-line like Pitt's best or the Cowboys best, who knows where he would have been yardage wise.

Actually the playoff thing was your point... you and the other guy who said Sweetness or AP would be a preferable playoff option. Actually I think judging an RB on a handful of games over the course of a 10 year career, or 1 game in the case of Barry with you, is pretty stupid.

The playoff thing is true, by the time Sweetness got to the playoffs he was past his prime and the Bears defense was winning them games, Barry in his prime was going to the playoffs and did absolutely nothing to help HIS team win.



I think saying "Barry easily" is pretty stupid. Barry gets a pass for the things he didn't do well because people somehow think he had a shitty offense around him which is obviously not true and the fact he made you say wow more than any player in history. I can understand you being a homer but lighten up a little man you are a Tigers fan it's a proven fact you are not always right!

I really liked Barry when he played, I didn't like how he quit on his teammates, coaches and the fans however.

75% to 25% seems pretty easily to me. But if you want to make a case for Dickerson being a better back, go for it. Yards per game, per season, receiving .. all Barry. TDs.. Barry. The discrepancy in yards per carry is laughable. I'm curious what Dickerson did better ? Emmitt's backers like to play the "he blocked better" card but I don't think Dickerson ever threw a block. Dickerson had a notoriously bad attitude and he fumbled a lot more than Barry so there's that. What else was he better at ?
