Smart, that was a great tunnel song before the Ohio State 2010 game, too. I think they should break that out every once in a while, but not for every game. Just when it's time...and I think everyone will know when it's time.

There's something sensual about U2 with a fall breeze over your face that gets the crowd pumped in a way that the loud openings don't. It almost feels like a holy atmosphere, as if you are part of a higher calling, and the clips in the background re-inforce this. I've been to many stadiums that play Metallica-style music where people jump or try to act crazy. It just sounds like loud noises and fans trying to throw people off their game. The UW opening almost makes it seem like nature and history are on our side. I wouldn't trade the U2 for any entrance song in the world.
