I haven't seen My Darling Clementine.

Big chunks of Wyatt Earp were filmed near my home town, so I kind of felt obligated to watch it. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I've seen My Darling Clementine a handful of times, I am a big fan of Henry Fonda and Walter Brennan so I really liked it. Gunfight is good as well Lancaster is ok in it and Douglas was great.

You forgot Frontier Marshal (the 1939 one)

Gun Belt (1953), Wyatt Earp: Return to Tombstone (1994), etc.

Plus, many TV shows that covered this topic. Most of them literal interpetations, but the best has to be the corniness of the original Star Trek episode "Spectre of the Gun" where the Star Trek crew is part of the Clanton clan and face death if the situation sticks to history.

I know there are others but I wasn't even sure most would know about the ones I listed. I watch as many westerns as anyone and I never even heard of Frontier Marshal.

True, but my vote still goes for the corny Star Trek episode!

Star Trek shootout at the OK Corral.

The bullets are unreal.... without body.

Funny stuff! Horrible studio set with the wind, bad lightning and thunder effects, and the orange backlighting. Not to mention Kirk's jumping, backhanded fighting style is really, really, bad!

There are a handful of movies where it is a man's obligation to stop down and watch if he runs across it on TV. Tombstone is one of them.

Yep. Jaws is another one for me as is Shawshank Redemption
