Best dual sport schools

0 titles in the last 5 years for both. They can't be #1. Any team who won a title in either and is good in the other sport should be ranked above any team who is good in both sports but has 0 titles.

I agree with that. Oregon has a great W/L record but I would put Bama ahead of them and all others in football.

I'd rank OSU above MSU. A solid basketball program with a football team that's consistently won the big 10 in those 5 years and includes a national title now.

Outside of a 15 year period, the basketball program has a pretty good history of winning. It just so happened that our football team took a dump as the basketball team came out of that 15 year slump. Poor timing is all.

Your basketball team just missed the NIT, they may have disappeared again. Next year will be the true sign given the injuries that UM suffered.

Wasn't great, but like half the starters were injured through most of the season. So I have a hard time putting too much weight into what happened as evidence of things to come.

Well actually you are being biased over on that other thread, reason: you only mention the Buckeyes (even going as far as saying that Kansas St. & Colorado wasn't a good enough example for you so I guess they don't count?) & no other programs that actually have done the same thing. It's all good though!

11th huh? Not bad. We definately feel like our football program is on the rise. Hopefully we can consistently win 10 games from here on out but I know that's difficult to maintain. Just happy to finally have a relevant football program and not have to ALWAYS look forward to the start of basketball season year in and year out.
