Best 16 teams in the country version 2.0

Alright 2 weeks ago we did this thread . Going to try and update every few weeks. Give me the BEST 16 teams in the country RIGHT now. Ill start

Syracuse
Kansas
Michigan State
Villanova
OK State
Kentucky
Louisville
Iowa
Wisconsin
Michigan
Pitt
Florida
SDSU
Wichita
Cincinnati

- The last 2 spots were tough and came down to Cincinnati, Louisville, Duke, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Ohio State and UVA.

Michigan's big win this weekend was nice but I don't if I would have them ahead of ISU or UL yet. This is coming from a guy who told people after they lost a few early to not count them out of the B1G race so soon.

But I can see why you have them there. I also think ISU and UL are better than Cincy.

Other than that my top 16 is exactly as yours.

Michigan was my number 14 based mostly on their performance in B10 play. IF they handle my Hawks this Wednesday Ill have them entrenched in the top 16 even with a loss to MSU this weekend.

Absolutely. If the beat Iowa it won't even be arguable to say they are not top 16. Right now I still think there is a case for having them in the top 16 or out of it. Can't go wrong either way you lean.

i mean honestly for me you can take the top 16 straight from the AP or USA today polls, and sub out kentucky for pitt..........and the 16 spot for me is iowa state vs ohio state

sorry, but i disagree. Pitt looked decent against SU, but they are probably the best possible team to play against SU because of Jamie Dixon's success against Boeheim. they don't have a single impressive win IMO, and that makes them frauds that have a great record because of a shitty schedule

I was actually more impressed by Pitt in their loss to Cuse than in any other game theyve played this year.. LOL. As to Creighton Im not sold on the Bluejays as legit top 16 team. Anytime a team is SOOO dependent on one guy its tough to believe in them IMO. Same reason I have skepticism on OK State but OK St has Nash who is better than anyone else Creighton has on the roster so the Cowboys get a little leeway.

umm, no they aren't. that creighton team can't cover anyone. This speaks volumes about Villanova right now.

'Nova is:

1) shitting the bed tonight offensively against a TERRIBLE defensive team
2) not a great defensive team playing against a great offensive team
3) very likely overrated (it's really hard to get outscored by 40 points in ANY stretch of a game versus ANYONE like they did against SU)
