Both returned to practice today.
Hixon needs to start showing he can be a #3 WR. Armanti and Gettis have been stating their cases all preseason. Right now I'd give Gettis a slight edge over Armanti since he's been out with a hamstring injury for about a week. This has actually turned out to be the best position battle so far.
The question with Beason is, of course, can he stay healthy for the entire season. He's played in 5 games over the last 2 years but before that he never missed a game. With him we have the best LB corp and maybe the best front 7 in the NFL. Here's hoping the injury bug is behind him.
