2 Things about Sean Miller
1) He has a history of under-performing in tournaments. He has to figure out why. There's something there from a coaching standpoint that isn't working. I really wish he would publicly take on more personal accountability in losses. Instead he always seems to have the excuses ready.
2) His teams tend to start slow, both in games and in seasons. He usually has his team in gear by the end of a game and by the end of a season. This one can be super frustrating but is also a bit of a positive.
Both of those things showed up big time in the Bahamas.
The only positive to take away from this week is DeAndre Ayton. He was one of a few players (I would add PJC and Pinder) for Arizona that really showed up and played at or above the level that was expected. The fact that he's already this good is a huge positive.
