Saw REO Speedwagon at summerfest in Mill walk key back in the day.

Last Letterman was pretty good.

Sox suck. Like the carriage horses wear blinders so they don't get freaked out by traffic, Sox need blinders so they don't get freaked out when there's a runner in scoring position.

Wayne Campbell: So, do you come to Milwaukee often?
Alice Cooper: Well, I'm a regular visitor here, but Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers were coming here as early as the late 1600s to trade with the Native Americans.
Pete: In fact, isn't "Milwaukee" an Indian name?
Alice Cooper: Yes, Pete, it is. Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."
Wayne Campbell: I was not aware of that.

Yeah, but having to actually watch March Madness is even worse.
You dont realize how bad the quality of play matters until you are watching teams you have no rooting interest in. At least in baseball, I can go watch random teams and still enjoy myself

Don't get carried away. I'm going to be talking about jerking off into my office trash can next.

The more you get to know me, you'll find that when there's enough evidence to prove that I'm wrong, I'll jump right out there and say it. This one was pretty painless. There were a couple from FanNation that I remember really having a hard time eating my crow, but I did it.

"But I think the most interesting fact about Milwaukee is that it's the only American city to have elected three socialist mayors."

Meanwhile, I can see why the Red Sox wouldn't trade Swihart for Cole Hamels. :L Swihart looks like absolute garbage in every way. He also looks like he weighs about 150lbs. I think we have another worthy prospect from the Lars Anderson/Ryan Lavarnway school of prospects. It's unbelievable how ALL of these guys continue to be overrated.

Yeah, but the golden child, Mookie Betts is hitting two-thirty, so that's awesome! Game changer!

Folks, particularly Red Sox fans, were pulling their puds pretty hard over Swihart. I think there's at least two minor league Cs that I'd rather have - they aren't as close to the majors, but they've got better chances, I feel, to be productive catchers.

Don't forget Bradley. Guy hits the cover off the ball at Pawtucket. Second he gets the majors his swing turns into swiss cheese.

I was going to say that perhaps the Sox need an AAAA team to bridge the gap between Pawtucket and Fenway. But then I realized, the Sox are that AAAA team. The organization needs a AAA.5 team.

Mookie is coming down this road too... But out of those 3 he will be the most successful imo. Plus you can't fault his defense.

and why the hell did they have to pay so much money for him? The hype really demanded that much?

ChiSox set the market with Abreu. Castillo doesn't have that power but supposed to be much better defensively so he got more $$. Chicago ruining baseball.

At least Betts LOOKS like an actual Major Leaguer. He can run and play some good CF. He can work an AB and draw a walk. And I do think he will hit. Swihart looks like he just started playing baseball a few months ago.

True....but we have to rely on the same scouting reports and minor league stats that you see. I think these ranking services are in cahoots with the Red Sox to artificially increase their prospects' value. I'm so sick of hearing how great these guys are and then seeing they suck when I finally watch them in person. Bogaerts, Swihart, Webster, Barnes, Ranaudo, Lars Anderson, Lavarnway....etc.. I'm not falling for it anymore. Just trade these guys for ACTUAL talent while you can.
