I think they'll promote Blashill and not see much difference to be honest. I think the Wings will be fine.

Read some guys who had Blashill as a option for the Flyers before they went with Hakstol. But that was if Babcock stayed in Detroit. Figure they promote him and don't miss a step

Let me tell you from my experience living here in Sabreland. They are a very passionate fanbase, very knowledgable of the game, but holy shit are they a whiny bunch when they play the victim card thinking everyone is out to screw them. It's really annoying to listen to callers on sports radio here in western NY.
Not every fan is like this, but quite a few are. Tim Murray is the biggest a..hole of all. How can Eichel feel good about going to a team where the GM publicly bitches on national tv saying how the franchise got screwed out of the 1 pick?

This sounds right I didn't read much on other choices to the Sabers but I was under the impression that Babcock was going to Buffalo and I think the Sabers thought so also

It appears that Disco Dan may be the next Sabres coach. Now this would be a great hire for them. He would be going into a great situation with a very young talented group, similar to when he coached the Pens at an early stage and got a cup. All of that whining by Murray and yet I think Dan is the better fit for them.
