Wisconsin averages about 68 plays per game, Taylor has had 262 touches or just less than 22 per game. We may have to get him the ball more, say up to 30-35 touches
If Shaw doesn't play then Chryst is going to wear JT out this game. Groshek is OK for short yardage but sdoesn't have the speed, and I don't think he trusts Chris James.

Many OSU fans are predicting a Wisconsin win on the 247 message boards as they should.
LOL at supposedly scouring an OSU message board to make yourself feel more confident.

I don’t get the OSU fans who are debating whether JT should start. Wisconsin struggles with highly mobile QBs and it was JT’s 90+ yards on the ground that enabled OSU to pull out the OT win in Madison last year.

Well they won 59-0 with a Qb that can throw the ball downfield wit accuracy, yeah their supporting cast was better but not being able to stretch the field is a huge weakness and makes the offense somewhat one-dimensional. I love how JT can run the ball especially in short yardages but if Ohio St is going to play its’ best he will need to be accurate on short passes and at least hit some downfield passes to stretch the field. He has very little deep accuracy, as I sure you know already.

I am going with Wisky here. This will be their toughest test. But I look at two key CO this season: Iowa and Michigan.

The Badgers beat the Wolverines by 14 points. Ohio State won by 11. I'll give that a draw. Wisky won at home, OSU won on the road.

Iowa beat OSU by 31 points, Wisky beat Iowa by 24 points. Grant it, Ohio State lost on the road and Wisky won at home. But you still have a tale of two different results.

I think the Iowa common opponent is why I am going with Wisky here. Plus, Wisky has beaten everybody they played and won by at least 11 points, I believe.

This is why you don’t use transitive properties involving multiple teams, especially when one played homes games and the other played road games.

Using that logic — ND beat USC by 30. USC beat Stanford by 20. So obviously, ND ran the score up on Stanford, right? No — ND lost by 18 to Stanford.

While the Iowa game is going to ultimately keep OSU out of the CFP — it was a game where Iowa came out in front of hyped up home crowd, grabbed the momentum with a pick six and it just snowballed from there.

Teams that aren’t used to playing from behind will start to force things in those situations and that is what seemed to happen to OSU. It is also why I said it is extremely important for Wisconsin to get a lead against OSU, because chasing multiple scores against a defense like OSU isn’t what Wisconsin is built for. It is fine against teams like IU or Utah State — but not a team that can play offense and defense at a high level.

But no matter what happens can't we all be united in our hatred of Michigan?

In a weird way I kind of hope Haskins plays.

That way it pretty much forces Meyer to give the ball to the damn running backs instead of calling a bunch of QB runs and stupid cute passing plays.

I guess that could back fire though if Wisconsin manages to tighten up and totally stuff the run.

All BIG teams for SPT's and defense was announced

Badgers have 3 1rst team ALL BIG TEAM CB Nelson, MLB Edwards and S Dixon
4 Second Team DE Alec James, DE Conor Sheehy, OLB Dooley, K Rafael
1 Third Team with CB Tindal
5 honorable mention: MLB Connelly, S Ferguson, OLB Jacobs, S Jamerson DT Olive: Connelly and Ferguson are backups that played due to injuries. Personally I believe Connelly and Jamerson are at least second teamers.

Overall, that's 12 from the defense players that made 1rst-through honroable mention which is the entire team plus a backup.

Also, Paul Chryst might win coach of the year and Jim Leonhard is a candidate for coaching specialist of the year.

OSU

2 First team
2 second team
2 third team 3 third team SPT's
4 Honorable mention

That's 10 total defensive players to make the All BIG 1rst through honorable mention team. They have no coaching specialist up for an award and Myer won't be up for coach of the year after he had his worst regular season ever with OSU having 2 loses already.

@Across The Field told me OSU will win because they have more talent and better coaches. Hmmm, the awards, production, and records don't agree with you buddy.

LOL at supposedly scouring an OSU message board to make yourself feel more confident.

Even the Michigan fans were mostly predicting a close win by Michigan and Wisconsin won that by 14 but with a good amount of OSU fans predicting Wisconsin to win I can't help but feel even more confident.

So what you're saying is Wisky's 42nd ranked O will pick apart Ohio State's 8th ranked D?

I'm basing it on how Ohio St. performs vs top offenses and Wisconsin performs vs their better defenses they faced.

Overall, OSU struggled mightly vs the better offenses they faced and Wisconsin still did fairly well vs the top defenses they faced.

Also, in terms of total yards and total points Wisconsin is never going to be top ten since they're a control the clock type of team and have limited possessions. However, in terms of efficiency they're a top 25 offense. They had some games with multiple turnovers and multiple very costly penalties that hurt that efficiency but the Minnesota game and Michigan game the offense turned the corner in terms of not beating themselves.

Also, Johnathan Taylor is averaging over 7 YPC and Hornibrook is averaging nearly 9 YPA. That's about as good of a combination of a QB/RB duo in terms of Yards per play as there is in the entire country.

Johnathan Taylor was announced as the BIG Freshmen of the year and broke the previous record of winning the freshman of the week award 8 time and the previous record was 7 held by JT Barrett. A changing of the guard has already started ladies and gentlemen.

Is there a more delusional fanbase than Michigan? Citing their predicting a win, means nothing.

Pick your beer up Tennessee fans, stop trying to be more delusional than Michigan fans about the state of your program.
