In order for one to believe that USC or Pete Carroll was involved in what happened with Reggie Bush. One would have to believe that:

1.) USC paid Reggie Bush to leave school a year early.

2.) USC was supposed to know what was happening behind closed doors and over 2 hours away from campus.

3.) the Seahawks gave Pete Carroll everything that he said it would take for him to leave USC for the NFL (west coast team, A LOT of money and full control) to bail him out of the USC situation months before the NCAA announced the sanctions and when everyone was saying USC was going to get a slap on the wrist.
