THought I'd give this thread a bump.

Gotta hand it to Herb, he really knows when to get an extension in his contract. He has a way of bringing everyone to the table the summer after they have a "good" year, to negotiate. Then, the following year they completely shit the bed (not all together unexpected), but Herb has already got his money.

It's just crazy to me how ASU continues to retain this guy, and then wonders why their program is so fucking horrible. I think it was Whodat that was saying last year that in 5 years ASU was going to be a mainstay in the T25. Still think so?? Herb lost Musselman, who was to glue guy to getting ASU to a point where they could even produce enough to get to March. And now he is gone, so they give Herb an extension??

I think everyone will be surprised if ASU has a winning record this season, must be the perfect time to give Herb some money.
