Several tied at -5 at Bayhill.

Again...Adam Scott is up at the top...this guy might be setting the stage for a big run this year.

No Spieth, no Fowler, no Bubba, no Mickelson, but quite a few top guns are there.

At one time this event, Memorial and Byron Nelson were notched right below The Players. It's an invitational, but you know they got the invite. With Arnie now being in his mid 80s you'd think the top players would all pay homage to him and play in his event.

Rickie flew down in person and had lunch with the King to let him know he wouldn't be able to make this year which I thought was really cool. Spieth stacked too much on his plate cris crossing the world earlier in the year so I understand him needing a break...such a gracious kid, had to hurt him to not be there.

In either case...golf goes on....the run up to Augusta is in full swing!

Cooled off on Friday and that was enough to knock him out of it...-5 on the weekend was just good enough for T12.

Jason Day...birdied 17 to take the lead as Chappell was making bogey @ 18 to drop back to -16....so far Bubba, Speith, Fowler, Scott, now Day have all won an event this season leading up to Augusta...Stenson, Rory, Dustin Johnson, Kymer and Rose are probably the other big contenders...yet to win on Tour...we'll have to see how they play in the coming weeks.
