Doesn't matter. He's a great talent & not afraid to give credit to his Creator.

He could have said Hail Beelzebub and I would have been just as happy...but that wouldn't have played better in T-town. Alabama is smack in the middle of the bible belt, so I don't see where it's a problem. Islanders got the Mormon a hundred years ago, and it runs deep.

He seems like a good kid what's not to like about that? Tebow did go a little overboard with the preaching but with all the players beating up girlfriends , getting caught with weapons and getting DUIs I would take more Tuas in a heartbeat.

I'd rather have an 'in your face' religious kid than some street thug taking a half-assed AA studies degree

I'll embrace and love him. I like Tebow and he's a great ambassador for Florida and CFB in general. Doesn't mean I wasn't cheering when they showed him crying on the big screen in the Georgia dome in 09, because I was.

Problem with Tebow wasn't the religion, it was that he was an average player who got a ton of press due to his religion.

    :wtf:

Tebow hesiman season was similar to VY2K5 season.

    Tebow - 3200 yds pass 32TD 6INT
    Young - 3000 yds pass 26TD 10INT

    Tebow - 895 yds rush 23TD
    Young - 1050 yds rush 12 TD

Tebow could ball. You're just hating cause VY sucks and couldn't win the hesiman. 1-2 vs OU.

Not to mention the fact that his knee was down. Tebow > Young all day.

Knee was most certainly down and with today's trigger happy replay cfb it would have got called.

Same goes for Oregon onside fuck up. Even with that podunk camera shit stadium it was clear they never recovered, the refs were just paid off.

It's crazy that, especially considering the state of HS football in Texas, that that was the last time they were truly relevant on a national stage.

Aside from that time Colt pussed out, of course.
