No idea why two teams in the same conference would play a neutral site game but that rivalry took an 18 year hiatus by the looks of it.

Jerry has ties to Arkansas and after he built the new Stadium he threw a boat load of money to Arkansas and (a big12 team at the time) a$m. He has continued to do so every year … even after a$m became part of the sec...

The game itself -- overall has been a very close & exciting game to watch while pulling in excellent tv ratings... and of course drawing fans from both schools and selling out every year … Jerry does like sell-outs.

Possibly ... but I would say Arkansas Pass D did a better job against a$m's high powered passing Offense …

I think Arkansas found out that a$m is not very good at defending the pass.

as a kid growing up I followed the Chief, I lived in Denver for a while (as an adult) and had season ticket to the Broncos - was lucky to see them in the Elway years ...

I lived in LA for a while .. but never ever went to a Rams nor Raiders game … but discover College Football in LA .... I have had season tickets to college football ever since ... no matter where I have lived.

My college, Cal. State Long Beach, gave up football in 1991. So I have a Cal St. Long Beach shirt that say we are undefeated since 1991 in Football... lol ..

Only 2 loss team in top 25 and had to come from behind against a bad Arkansas team. I dunno it smells SEC to me
