AP Poll after week 1

I was more pointing out that there's no way you can determine Florida is any better this year with those 4 games, last year's Florida team would have beaten those 4 also. Really don't understanding ranking them until later in the year when they face Mississippi State, LSU, etc

But winning is winning.. we keep winning we deserve to be ranked. it's that simple..

About half of college football won though

It wouldn't just be Florida, if Tennessee played UTEP this week and suddenly was 25th I'd say the same about them. Same would go with Colorado, Nebraska, or whoever else finished with a losing record last year.

Another year and 1 week into the season and people are whining about the polls


These polls are useless and it really makes sense that so many teams are either over ranked or under ranked at the momment.

Why wouldn’t they be though?


Until you’ve let them play a few weeks into the season how would you even grade the talent level? Especially with some guys coming off injuries, off red shirt status or a true freshman...how could you possibly evaluate their play at this level if they’re playing at this level for the first time. One game in....May have only got a few touches on the football ....no way to tell how good the players are after so little actual playing time.
