I saw this on tv tonight the coaches attacked the ref it was brutal and some kid was hitting the ref with his stick as well looked like he fell to me fucking people

Is fighting allowed at all at that age? I would think it would be a league expulsion for 12-year olds, but I don't know, maybe it's allowed.

The mom isn't going to have much luck with criminal/civil charges.

I'll admit that I was shocked that this wasn't an American suing for something so absurd.

Saw the (poor quality) video in the link. Didn't see anything wrong with how the ref handled it. It was obvious that he just lost his balance when trying to break things up, not trying to WWE the kid.

It is not allowed, and I can't speak for there but here first fight is an automatic one game suspension. Then 3 for the second. After that it's discussed by refs and league officials if it gets to that.

I know if I was sitting in the room discussing enrollment next year, that kid would not be allowed to compete next year.

And I would also move to have the coach banned too. No excuse for that.

I don't know what lawyer in their right mind would take on this family's case. Not only is this beyond ridiculous but I would consider these types of people most likely not to pay their legal fees, especially when they lose. They should have to pay the ref's legal fees too if this actually goes anywhere, but of course they probably won't pay that either.
