Kinda seems like it already was a huge incident...
I missed the chaos, my two cents is the OP is the rules, cut and dried, unless there's a 100% consensus that a rule is added. That's how we've rolled for years, but I'm fine either way, it's just a game
Exactly what is the rule that players after 2012 can't be drafted? If so okay dokie.
No sir we are just asking because there was confusion with Shane's OP. I was told by him no restrictions and if they played less the 5yrs then their position would be determined by most games played at that position. I tagged everyone and posted that and I am glad I did because it brought out the confusion before it became a huge issue. Thanks @Shanemansj13 for all your input in this debate. You have been very helpful. As helpful as me giving drafting tips.
But that wasnt put in the OP prior to the draft beginning so its pointless to even debate it.
Dude I am not arguing I am just stating what Shane told me. That's fine players had to play 5yrs at 1 position, I am just stating what I was told.
Yeah but some are taking it differently. I see it as no player restrictions---so any player is eligble. Then I see the position requirement as they had to have played at that position for 5 years but it never says those players under 5 years are restricted bc of the NO PLAYER RESTRICTIONS. So to me the player that has played under 5 years is eligible and whatever position he played the most years is what the position requirement is.
That took forever to explain lol
If you dont want me to voice my opinion on the subject don't tag and ask me for my opinion.
1. It means players under 5 years are not eligible. OP doesnt say that
2. It means that a player under 5 years just plays the position they have played the most seasons. OP doesnt say that.
So now we are fucked regardless
Not true, it does say it! If the player didnt play 5 years how could he have played a position for 5 years? It doesnt say anywhere in the OP that players who played less than 5 years will be used at the position they played the most. So 5 years supersedes the no player restriction rule.
How I understood the rule when I read the OP. There are no player restrictions as long as the player played 5 years at the position you draft him for.
Ok well there it is settled
@MilkSpiller22 is up again
I just want you guys to know, I don't speak Chinese...
@wlk3 you are up
I texted Femur
@Pack 500 is up.
Also, I hope Elway breaks his leg in the press box @femurov
So last clarification:
Players drafted 2012 or later are ineligible for this draft?
Ineligible since they didn't have 5 years at a position. Honestly, I don't think it will affect our draft especially at this point. I can't think of any player under 5 years that is worthy of a starting spot on these teams....at least that I can think of.
BTW they had to play a specific position for 5 years so even if they have been in the league for 5 years that doesn't matter. If they played 3 years at C and 2 years at PF, they are ineligible
