Either way I can see both arguments but my money is on Jordan and the Bulls. I just cant see him lose. Smart money is on the bulls. If you want to take a chance on the lakers I understand. They are a great team.

Best of 7 Bulls win 4-3.

well, i'm not sure taking the Bulls in that match-up is "smart money", but opinions are what they are...

my take is Lakers in 6. too much size and depth for even the MJ bulls to deal with. imo that's pretty obvious...

and that's whats great neither of us are wrong but I can see why you would pick the Lakers. Size would hurt the bulls but bulls will be too quick for the lakers, they can hit the 3 at multiple positions and Bulls Free throw shooting is a lot better then the Lakers. That's the Bulls advantage.

Remember at their prime not career. We are taking each player at their prime when they played. Bulls have 3 players who can hit the 3. So I was right there and Free throw shooting would kill you with Shaq. Rodman wouldn't have the ball in his hands late in the game. Also 1 negative about your Bigs Kobe and Magic wouldn't be able to drive because it would be all clogged up. Your Offense would be 1 Dimensional. Phil would find away to stop it. So thanks for making my point. +1 for your help.

Your most delusional post yet. (and that's saying a lot).

Lakers 3 point shooting - .320
Bulls 3 point shooting - .319
Lakers Free Throw Shooting - .743
Bulls Free Throw Shooting - .727

Yes, clearly it's advantage Bulls. :pound:

The numbers in their prime years are better for pretty much everyone and still favor the Lakers.

U aren't getting it. I give up. I will try one more time. We have 3 guys who will be touching the ball a lot. Pippen, MJ and Rose. U have stated your bigs would be your main offense. So we have 3 guys that can spread the floor with when you only have 2. Your bigs will be touching the ball a lot so yes your Free throw shooting is worse then the Bulls main players running the offense. Again Im going by what some of the lakers fans have stated. Magic and Kobe wouldn't do much because driving to the hole wont happen because of your bigs clogging the hole. so your main scoring will come from your bigs. It would be a disadvantage. If this doesnt help you nothing will.

I never said that the bigs would be the main offense. The Lakers can score from anywhere on the floor and Magic is distributing the ball.

And late in games, why would the Lakers be going to Shaq when they have Magic, Kobe, Kareem and Elgin Baylor?

If you think Kareem would just be clogging the lane, then you never saw him play. Kobe never had too much problem going to the hole with Shaq there and the Showtime Lakers never had a problem running the break with Kareem.

Your entire argument boils down to "We have MJ and Shaq is a bad free throw shooter."

Do you really think MJ, Pippen and Rose are going to be driving the lane with Shaq and Kareem there on defense?

There is virtually no measurable area where the Bulls have the advantage. That's what you don't get.

The kids is delusional! His 'We have MJ so we automatically win" argument is all he has. He's been owned on pretty much everything else he comes up with.

Including the stats he just randomly pulled out his ass. :pound:

Oh, and let's not forget MJ never played against Kobe in his prime. The last game the two played against each other, before Kobe's prime and way after Jordans, Kobe dropped 55 points on his ass.

And if you think the bigs wouldn't have any impact, look at this game back in 1997 where Elden Campbell scored 34 on the Bulls: Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers Box Score, February 5, 1997 | Basketball-Reference.com

What do you think Kareem and Shaq would do to them?

:pound: u wish. Im been killing it. Most people agree. Its all good. U guys are Homers and cant see it.

I have also stated multiple times I understand if you pick the Lakers. You have no argument about blow out. that is what makes you argument a joke.

I have said tons of time it would go 7 and Bulls win 4-3. Nothing wrong with that and most agree. The ones that are saying blow out are crazy and have no clue about basketball.

2003 wasn't part of Kobe's prime? That season he average 30 pts/game, and posted career higs in 3P% and rebounds/game.

Not really. Kobe's prime years were between 2005 and 2010

I'd say his 2002-2003 season was just as good, if not better than the his 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010.

Like I said earlier, he set career highs in 3P%, steals/game, and rebounds/game, and had his 3rd best points/game in 2002-2003. And if you're into advanced stats, Kobe's 2002-2003 season had the best VORP and 2nd best win shares of any season in his career.

gotta admit that makes a lotta sense. and Eldon was known for his small hands when he played(ANOTHER graduate of Morningside high btw:heh:). but yeah, MORE talented bigs would've been a nightmare...

The All time Spurs team has a chance to beat the Bulls imo. What do you think?

07 Parker
05 Ginobili (dude was a monster, should have been the Finals Mvp imo)
Prime Gervin
Prime Duncan
Prime Robinson
Yeah, that team would be a match for the Bulls. I put Leonard in for defense but Iceman is more talented.

All time Sixers team would be interesting though Im not sure how you would put it together. I don't like how inefficent AI is but Barkley and Wilt are some of the most efficient scorers of all time and Moses Malone is one of the best rebounders of all time.

Iverson
Hershey Hawkins?
Dr J
Barkley
Wilt or Moses
