I get so frustrated with these. Hop gets HM while Maddy doesn't get anything? How does it get more obvious that this can't be right when Maddy starts over Antoine AND has much better stats. Can you say "mailing it in"?

Seriously? I would love to know why the one guy left Gio off of his ballot. Hurst and Ebron were pretty close to first team as well.

And LOL at the voters who voted for Tre Boston.

I feel like Bernard, Cooper, and probably Bjoern Werner had the best case of being unanimous first teamers.

Anyone else see that you can win coach of the year in the ACC with a 6-6 record? You can also vote for a coach that wasn't even good enough to keep his job.

Maybe they shouldve taken a year off from the award, but i really don't see how Cutcliffe gets coach of the year after winning THREE games in the conference. I wouldve voted for Jimbo or Dabo just because none of them deserve it, but their teams were the best in the conference.

Coach of the year is always which team surpasses preseason expectations. A 6 loss coach winning is a new one... but Duke making their first bowl game in nearly 2 decades is the reason. FSU and Clemson did pretty much what people expected. I think it's stupid too, but that's how it always is.

None of the teams Duke beat are going bowling (UNC is the only one with enough wins).

Thats not impressive, IMO. The only difference in Duke this year and last year is they didn't lose to a d1a and the ineptitude of the teams they were competing against were at an all time low.

I think its because
1. We are on probation
2. Are any of the voters from the News and Observer?
3. He missed two games
4. Tajh is the QB on arguably the best team in the conference with really good numbers.

I feel bad for Gio, he's been named first team all-conference both years but I can't believe he didn't win anything else.
