... has hit more posts in 8 games than anyone I've ever seen, ever.

2 more in the first period tonight.

I swear if the goal was 24.2 sqft he would have 10 goals.

It's crazy.

He always plays well against the Senators.

Good on him. I hate him for it, but he's just dynamite against my team.

I hate Jeff Skinner too, but that's because he's a diving maggot.

Well, I wish that he'd get some IN. He's on my fantasy squad.

Cam Ward has been outstanding tonight wiht the exception of the somewhat fluky goal by Alfredsson.

Skinner has shown why he's so dangerous and Larose, as always, is playing great against Ottawa.

My question: where are the Staals? I haven't noticed either of them yet tonight with the exception of Eric getting stripped of puck really easily by Karlsson.

Biz: have they been good this year or are they just kind of taking getting fancy/hungover now that the brothers are together?

If he's first Elias and Kovy have to be 2 and 3 respectively.

Eric has been in beast mode this year since game one. Currently riding a 6 game point streak.
I expect beast mode activation in the 3rd.

It's not unusual and it's not bad luck. One of Semin's many, many maddening qualities is trying to be too perfect with his shots.

Are a lot of those slappers? Ever since he started using his slapshot more he's been a less effective shooter. His medium velocity wrister is so deadly. If he'd just take 10-15% off his shot and be more accurate with it, he'd score more. He seems to want to just blaze it, and hasn't put as many in since he started shooting harder imo.

FINALLYFINALLYFINALLY

The look on his face afterwards was hilarious. Not the typical HELL YEAH expression, but way more of a "holy shit finally, sheesh" look.

It was like a 5000lb weight was lifted. (insert Wellwood or Tkchuk joke here)

Hello floodgates, time to open up.

3 hattricks in the next 5 games, and then 15 games without a goal. Alex Semin in a nutshell

I think the Caps miss Semin big time. Their offense has been brutal this year.

Shooting blanks? sorry it was :lame:

Seriously with Semin when he is on he gets goals like this one

@ 2:48 but I think it will come around with the Canes but for now I think both sides miss each other.

I was at the game last night. Mostly a goaltender battle with some amazing saves. But Semin definitely looked good, he at least hit the crossbar once, and that look after his tying goal was priceless.

In fact, Carolina generally looked pretty dangerous, maybe they've just gotten some bad bounces so far? Ward seems to have found his game too.
