Thoughts? Heard some rumors that he is skating on the second line and the Stter is trying to get him some ice time with the log jam on D. I kinda like it, why not? What's the worst that could happen, he plays too defensively?

I don't think it's too much of anything - I think they'll make a move before they do something like that

I think it was a Sutter joke that went over people's heads.
He was asked when he thought about moving him to LW and Sutter replied something like

Every time I see him back checking when he should be skating backwards

So he was saying that Amart was letting his man get by him too much

I love Sutters humor. I don't think the media gets it most of the time.

Maybe, maybe not. Drewiske played LW several times when he was here because of the same similar log jam. Won't be the first time, in addition McSorley played RW too many times.

I know as a defenseman myself (primarily), it's not only fun to play up sometimes but it also gives you a good idea of what goes on within the forward group both offensively and defensively. Helps you "think the game" for certain.

Only part I hate is being on the receiving end of those big hits by defenseman. Not used to that and don't want to be, I'm usually on the giving end.
