So this card is all but dead. Real shame too, Edgar/Aldo was a fight that every fan was excited for.

They "saved" it with some fights nobody wants to see (Spider vs Bonnar, really?). But somebody needs to figure out the whole training thing. Guys are getting hurt way too often now. It's gotten really bad the last 2 years or so it seems like. Now I'm expecting most big fights announced to be cancelled due to injury

Yeah. It'll be nice to see Silva fight again this year but its a shame that he's facing Bonnar, who has no chance.

I'm with you on injuries. Nowadays I don't even get excited for a fight until the guys are actually in the cage.

UFC 153 may actually do a better PPV buyrate because Anderson Silva is a bigger draw than Edgar/Aldo. It's been a down year for the company, but they could easily rebound with this FOX deal.
