Max Scherzer gets the bump for the Tigers while Clay Buchholz opposes him.

This is going to be a great game and the Sox can close it out and to be honest I think they need to win tonight because if they lose they are going to have to face Verlander.

Good job by Buck in the first inning. He might have had a little to many pitches I think 24-25 somewhere around there but you gotta give it to the Tiger hitters they fouled off a lot of pitches. Now we need to get to Scherzer and make him work.

If Drew hadn't made the great play the inning before that slam might not have tied the game, let alone given us the lead.

Maybe that will convince people that shortstop is not like the corner outfield spots. I hope so, but am not counting on it.
