Did he lose a testicle or something? Does he never work out? He isn't even that old yet.

I hope he becomes marginally diabetic so they can scare the shit out of him before he dies at 40. I would actually guess that He is at least pre-diabetic already. Lord knows he has sleep apnia.

I did find it funny that Golic did the test the other day and passed (albeit at the very limit of the time). It isn't that hard to run that shuttle in 70 and 73 seconds respectively.

Haynesworth just seems like he wants to pull a Favre and not do anything but play and collect on that $100M contract. Is there a clause in the contract that states if he isn't fit enough to practice (due to his own laziness), he has to forfeit some money?

I saw that the other day too and he hasn't played in years.

I'm going with no probably on his contract.

Here's how it's gonna go down ....... Haynesworth won't pass the test but he'll be starting our first preseason game cause what's the point of paying him and not play him ...... Shanahan is just being tough, which I respect, but it's not a mandatory thing.

I saw it, and Golic didn't pass, he was close but you could tell ESPN was trying to set it up for him to pass.

Even if ESPN 'shaved' a second or two off of Golic's times, he hasn't played in 17 years and certainly hasn't trained for that test. Haynesworth did not show up to conditioning camp and this was the only thing he had to do instead, but he couldn't even get his lard ass to do something a 48 year old man could do.

I'm sure that he'll be in the starting lineup because of that contract, but this is the reason there needs to be a clause in those contracts. I can understand that if you do have a legitimate injury, but if you let yourself go due to laziness, then you should forfeit some of the money because the team is not getting what they paid for.

No matter what, the Redskins (Snider) were just plain stupid when they signed him for that money in the first place.

I dunno ... Haynesworth still has a chance to make an impact for this team, he's not a proven bust signing yet.

What happened to that guy?....he was an animal in Tennessee.....

Oh, he's still an animal if you can get him on the field. Problem is he loses his breath after each play, and lays on the field like he's hurt.

The worst was during the Saints game last year. Skins are winning and the Saints are trying to drive at the end of the game to tie it up; clock's running down after a run play by the Saints, and Albert has one of his panic attacks and lies on the field and stops the clock. Next play, 80 yard TD pass. You never know if that would have happened anyway, but it's a different game when the clock is moving and you have to make decisions in limited time. I was so pissed after that game.

Heh. Not really, it's just an old thread brought back up with this article.

Does leave a bad taste in your mouth as a skins fan however. :tsk:
