As we first noted in this space a year ago, the Crimson Tide's 2013 signees had a chance to surpass their legendary 2008 brethren in terms of NFL draft success, at least by volume. They did.

Alabama's 2008 signing class had 10 players drafted by NFL teams. The 2013 class had 11.

Here are the full lists:

2008 (10) -- first-rounders Julio Jones, Mark Barron, Marcell Dareus, Don'ta Hightower, Mark Ingram; second-rounders Courtney Upshaw, Terrence Cody; fourth-rounder Barrett Jones; seventh-rounders Brad Smelley, Michael Williams.

2013 (11) -- first-rounders Reuben Foster, Jonathan Allen, O.J. Howard; second-rounders Derrick Henry, A'Shawn Robinson; third-rounders ArDarius Stewart, Alvin Kamara, Tim Williams; fourth-rounders Anthony Averett, Eddie Jackson; sixth-rounder Bradley Bozeman.
