A insurance run here would be so crucial. Really good game for Tyler Austin.

Need something here xander.
Devers is a huge addition to the Sox lineup--- but overall the Sox lineup just doesnt impress me that much.

Betts is a great hitter.

Benentendi is a good hitter with a lot of potential. Devers is a 20 year old rookie who is on FIRE- but 20 year old rooks are prone to hot and cold streaks. Other than that- there are some decent bats like Hanley, Pedrioa (when healthy), Nunez is okay...but it that lineup just doesnt have a ton of intimidating hitters. Bradley Jr. took a step back this year and Bogaertes has been rather disappointing.

I think the Red Sox are the 2nd best team in the AL after the Indians, but their lineup just isnt that great.

Sale and Kimbrel is a scary good combo.

Yanks have a better lineup-- but its still such a young team. I think the Yanks need another year to develop--- and to find someone good to head their rotation- before they are legit contenders to get to the WS. No one is scared of Sonny Gray, Luis Severino who will pitch by far the most innings in his career and is getting into unchartered territory, CC Sabathia, and Tanaka.

I mean - who knows--- the baseball playoffs are a crap shoot to a certain extent- but right now id rate the best teams in the AL in this order: 1. Indians, 2. Red Sox, 3. Astros, 4. Yankees

The Tribe has the best bullpen in the league with the quartet of Allen, Miller, Shaw and Smith. I think they prob. have the AL's best rotation with Kluber, Carrasco, Salazar, Bauer and Clevinger...and while their lineup is not as good as Houston's- it still has a lot of depth.

Red Sox would be even more scary if Price ever got healthy and got his shit together and Porcello threw like he did last year- but it doesnt look like those things will happen.

Sonny Gray is driving me crazy. Going to be at 70+ pitches by the end of the 3rd.

And the bullpen just blew any chance we had today. Time to go watch Hart of Dixie with the wife. Never get married, cruel and unusual punishment is involved.

Yeah they need to do something. This has been going on for over a month

Seeing what we see with Sano.

Just not sure if guys like this can be long term successful with such an obnoxious amount of ks.

At least Judge walks a shit ton

not Porcello's sharpest outing, but I'll take it. ERA+ over 100 and he should throw over 200 innings. Not bad.

Got to wonder what's going on with Judge. Guy looked like a world beater in the 1st half, no idea what's happened to him since the All Star Break. It's been more than a month so it's more than a slump that's happening here.

When pitchers make an adjustment against him, he is slow to make his adjustments.
