Well fuck is all I can say to that.

Sucks but the only thing is from what I heard on the Michael Kay show is that he was not going to be on the roster because there's no room for him unless A-Rod/Tex got hurt. Still sucks

Going to be interesting to see how the Yankees do this year but injuries seem to be creeping up on them. (Bird and now Tanaka)

Which given his age and injury history, certainly is a possibility. Even if he were healthy, I don't think Girardi is letting him play 150+ games...between Tex and A-Rod getting days off, there's probably a good 60 games at the minimum that Bird could've started.

Cubs fans a decade ago: "Glendon Rusch won't be in the rotation unless Mark Prior gets hurt!"

Tampa Rays - Could be super competitive, and a sleeper to win the division with probably the best starting staff in the division, and it could be by a wide margin....For seemingly the 10th straight season, can they get enough offense? Longoria is in a steady decline, although still a decent bat....Forsythe is a nice player....Can Keirmeier become an offensive force? Can Souza improve on his awful season?

Red Sox - Eddie Rodriguez is the key to their season IMO......Im not fooled by the strong finishes of Joe Kelly and Rick Porcello.....Not fooled into again thinking Clay Bucholz is still pitching past June.....I think if Rodriguez can develop into a legit #2 behind Price, the Sox will be in it all season....If he doesnt, even with a potentially stacked lineup, i see a .500 type season with that rotation taking a pretty solid beating more times than they would like.....

Yankees - Health/and Gary Sanchez/Overcoming Joe Girardi.....3 huge keys for me...Keith Law called Sanchez a "potential MVP type player"......If he can develop into an offensive force in 2016, it could change the entire dynamic of that team, allowing Arod, Mccann and possibly Tex, to get the much needed rest they will need......Although Im sure Girardi will find a way to make sure this entire team is gassed by September 1.....Ill just chalk up their pen as the best in baseball, and although the starting staff has some talented arms, every one of them come with health related questions......Anything between 79-92 wins and an Al East title, wouldnt shock me with this team

Jays - How great can Stroman be? Can Estrada repeat?....A lot went right with this team last season, most notably, Health......Will Tulo and aging players like Encarcion and Batista play 140-150 games?.....this team can be absolutely filthy, or return to the team they were Pre-David Price, struggling with run prevention for most of the season....Tough call, a lot of pressure on some unproven arms

Orioles - They will find a way to linger around with a really nice lineup and their smoke and mirrors rotation, and a nice pen.....but think they will need a big deadline deal for a starter to avoid being the first team to fade from what could be an entire division race for the AL East

So CC and Nova are supposedly in competition for the last spot. I really hope CC gets the spot. I don't trust Nova
